Psychoanalytic therapy · Ra’anana & online

What brings you here may be hard to put into words.

You may sense, or even know, something without quite understanding it. Perhaps you want closeness but find it difficult to hold on to. Or perhaps you feel like a supporting actor in your own life story, present in every scene but never the director.

In therapy, we will explore the role you've come to play in your relationships, your work, and your imagination, and whether there might be other ways to inhabit your story.

Finding words

Some of our oldest experiences predate words. When words remain out of reach, we may repeat the past without knowing why.

You may find yourself drawn again and again to similar relationships, taking up the same role with different people, or facing familiar disappointments. What feels like simply who you are may have an architecture of its own, built long ago, when you had fewer choices about how to make your way in the world.

In psychoanalytic therapy, we find ways to express and make sense of those experiences. When something that has been lived without being understood can finally be thought about, you may no longer need to repeat it in quite the same way.

Beginning a conversation

You do not need to know exactly what you want from therapy before getting in touch. Sometimes knowing that you would like something to be different is enough to begin.

I work in person in Ra'anana and online.

If you would like to see whether working together feels right, I would welcome hearing from you.
